Warmun (Turkey Creek). 2003.
Warmun Community is situated in the Kimberly region of Western Australia, on the traditional lands of the Gidja people. European pastoralists began farming the area in the 19th century. In 1901 the Warmun Community was established in relation to a state government ration depot built at Turkey Creek.
In 2003, the Warmun community, and the surrounding landscape, continued to mediate the ongoing influence of its history.
