Paper Tiger seeks to explore the nuances of the integration, interaction, and expression of children’s oral and visual nature narratives, both within the context of their modern, urban and domestic lives, as well as the inherent biological and behavioural traits that bind them to the natural world.

Within this playtime realm where boundaries between the mythical and logical, the real and surreal, and the natural and fabricated are either blurred or indistinguishable, children who have no or limited direct experience of the natural world continue to seek connection.
